Hello Hello! I'm Avalon. Lover of music, clouds, snowy days inside and not being able to move in my bed because I'm always sandwiched by dogs.

From New Jersey, to NYC, to California - I then spent most of my childhood and all of my teenage years in New Hampshire. My young adult era was spent in Austin, TX where I worked in restaurants, both front and back of house for a decade. Insert COVID-19 and furloughs in the industry, I got a dog and a laptop and began working from home. Six years later I'm back up north in PA (8 minutes down the road from my Grammy!) - with my partner, two dogs and my cat. Perhaps settling down, perhaps here for now, trying my best to stay present in an uncertain world.

Through all the moves and changes in my life, one thing about me has always been there - I love a creative outlet. If I'm not playing guitar and writing music, I am almost definitely keeping busy with a craft. I've played with many, miniature making, needle felting, scrapbooking - but there's something about leather crafting that scratches the itch over all of them. Pair that with a journal that can hold endless memories and moves, and you've got Avalon Artisan Co.

I aim to make pieces that are thoughtfully designed, fun and unique, a piece that you can bring with you to annotate and keep a life's worth of lessons and selves. I hope in times of uncertainty you're able to look back on old chapters to see the good, the bad and know that you sit reading your past entries having grown from it all.
